Everyone’s so easily impressed with European luxury cars and tuners, but what about the old fashion American muscle cars that we all used to drool over? Well, Equus, an all-American Detroit-based automaker, is looking to take things back to the good ol’ days with their new Equus Bass 770.
The car is every classic American Muscle car fan’s dream. Under the hood, you’re looking at a 640 hp, 6.2-liter supercharged aluminum-block V-8. The body is aluminum and lined with carbon fiber to ensure lightness, but also sturdiness.
The total weight of the car amounts to about 3,640 pounds. The Equus Bass 770 can hit 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, which is great for a muscle car — especially a modern one attempting to revolutionize the auto industry.
Looking to park one in your driveway? It’ll run you $250,000 but comes fully loaded. If you do want to add extras, it’s going to be $290,000. Check out the video below.
