Some people don’t care what anyone thinks, they go for what they desire and aim at making their mark on the world. We salute those folks who live their lives to its full. These maniacs forced us to make some room for them, here as well. Even if their attempt wasn’t quite successful, at least they went for their dream

10. Ashrita Furman
The Record Attempt was to Balance the maximum number of glasses on the chin. The load of the glass was to be transferred to the chin and the person was supposed to balance it with any aid from his hands. Furman was the man who came forward and claimed that he possessed an iron chin, my mistake “iron will”. He at present holds the record for the most world records held, at 121, bringing his name to the wall of fame as “Mr. Versatile” and these not all ridiculous records. Many of them are very logical and absolute genius. His records/ titles include “Juggling underwater whilst being surrounded by sharks” and “Bouncing on a kangaroo ball whilst travelling along the Great Wall of China”. Both the record attempts and titles stunning, spectacular and motivated. However this time Mr. Versatile failed in his attempt to balance maximum number of glasses. Mr. Versatile tried to balance 20 ounce beer glasses on his chin, which resulted in one big ‘ol bit of sweeping on somebody’s drive way.
9. Croatian Smurfs
The World record attempt was to break the world record for “The amount of people dressed as Smurfs in one place, proving how many stupid friends you have.” The Croatian attempted to make the record and were informed that their attempt had to beat smurf-alikes. This record had been beaten two times and recently the students of Warwick, their record were smashed in 2009 by the students of Swansea, who boasted an impressive 2,510 blue idiots.
8. Yuri Kudinov and the English Channel
The record attempt was to break the “World Record for swimming the English Channel which was previously 7 hours, 8 minutes and 42 seconds.” Yuri was a Championship long distance swimmer for Russia, boasting an inspiring 3 Gold Medals from World Championships. In 2007, he attempted breaking the record for swimming the English Channel, with rival Petar Stoychev attempting the record on the same day. Previously Yuri had smashed Petar in the Open Water World Championships, beating him by 6 minutes. Yuri broke the world record, with a firm 7 hours and 6 minutes. Unfortunately for Yuri, his rival Petar completed the Channel in 6 hours and 57 minutes, becoming the World Record holder and the only person to swim the Channel in under 7 hours.
7. Coconut Breaking
The Record attempt was to break a chain of coconuts with your exposed hands the candidate was supposed to prove his ability to fracture some skulls if you need to =P This guy determined it was vital to show to his family and friends that his important handling of fruits was leading up to a far greater principle. He placed all the coconuts in a row in an open space and invited all sorts of media to catch his intentions and to prove to the World he is greatest coconut smasher of all time. Unluckily, he failed. With the hairy, spherical balls of dirty milk flying all over the place, this poor chap doesn’t seem to break one coconut, but instead he seems to break his wrist and lose the respect of many fruit enthusiasts.
6. Bubble World Record
The record attempt was to break record for largest bubble with most people inside, proving your weird fascination for making large bubbles with small children inside them. The candidate unluckily failed to do so, the guy desperately wanted to break this record and also had everything in place. The apparatus, the children, the bubble. All he wanted was some media and press from an American news complex, with a good anchor, incapable of ruining anything. As an alternative, they got local news journalist David Nazar, who scarf the attention by defilement the machine and thus, the record, then beating the record for most apologies in shortest time period. He had formerly gained interest after ruining an ice sculpture live on air. Though he has hastened everyone’s dreams of breaking the record, you can’t help but experience everyone slightly over reacted.
5. Snapple Pop and the Sticky Streets
The Record attempt was to make the world’s largest Ice Pop, disproving Al Gore’s theories of Global Warming. The attempt failed and ended up in a sticky mess. The New York Post stated that the sticky kiwi strawberry overflow even caused more than a few bicyclists to wipe out. “I can’t believe this, it’s so dangerous,” said cyclist Dave Currente, who took a spiteful fall. The Fire Department rushed to East 17th Street between Broadway and Union Square East to wash down the super slick road threat.
4. Biggest Domino Topple
The attempt was to line up more than 4 million dominoes to drop in sequence, proving you have 3,999,972 too many dominoes. Since if one thinks of it, seems way too funny and stupid. Wasting a huge bulk of time setting up small dominoes and then flooding your ones hardship in a mere second or few =P Yet this project was stunning and crazy. The group behind it set up their attempt in a Dutch Convention Center, when an arrogant sparrow flew in taking out 23,000 of the dominoes. The amount is very meager not more than 1% of total though the domineero’s were quick to avenge their fallen dominoes, by shooting the sparrow. After recovering the site of kill they realized the sparrow was of rare type and animal activists were quick to assemble making tribute sites for the bird and attempting to boycott any further attempt by the armed domineero’s to break said record.
3. Paper Plane Flight Record
The record attempt was to levitate the paper plane in the air for more than 27.6 seconds to beat the previous world record. A British attempted to break the world paper plane flying record has, factually, strike a wall. The British team’s most excellent player touched down just 6.8 seconds after its start by students at Leeds University – more than 20 seconds short of the 27.6 second world record set in Atlanta in 1998. But it still strike the plane judged to have the finest plan during the competition in the University’s Grand Hall. Student John Henderson, who worked on the winning team, said “He found that simplest designs were best.” Currently the title is held by Japanese.
2. Most Bra Chains Linked Together
What can I say about this record attempt, the world is totally crazy and mad =P well coming back to the record attempt, the attempt was to make the world’s largest bra chain link, making all men nervous about their aptitude to untie them with their eyes closed. The previous Australian record was 166,000 bra links. So everything was set and things were established and recognized. Unfortunately they had all got tangled up and time restraints meant they simply did not have enough time and had to call the whole event off. Still the responsible people are determined and want to make another attempt to complete their hundred mile bra chain.
1. Biggest Book Signing Event
The Attempt was to break the world record of chief turn out for a book signing event. The preceding book signing record was set by former Chess champ, Anatoly Karpov who drew in an inspiring 1,951 people in 2006. Though Price did not proclaim how many people did turn up, she was actually still pleased with the produce.
