James Payne was a 24 years old man who suffered from live cancer. His favorite video game was “Total War”. During the fight against cancer one of his wishes was visiting the game studios. He visited the studios, met some of the developers and spent some time with them talking about the game, life and so on. Later on James lost the battle, so one of the developers (the one that spent most time with him) suggested to “immortalize” him in the new game. The director approved and in Total War: Rome II you can see James as the main character. After all he will live his adventures.
