These abandoned cars, which are gradually rusting and falling apart, it is very sad to watch. After all, once they have faithfully served their owners and are wrapped in a lot of miles in his life.

Top 10 Common Fitness Myths
12:41 AM
No comments
There are a few common times of year where we begin to worry about our health and fitness – New Year’s Day and the beginning of bathing suit season. If you really want to shed those extra pounds and inches you need to avoid these 10 common fitness myths.
10. “Exercise can erase my bad eating habits”
While exercise is a great start to getting fit, nearly 80% of your weight issues are connected to your diet. Write down how much weight you want to lose and how many calories a day you need to achieve them. Remember, to estimate how many calories you’ll burn in your average workout too and fill your food calories with healthy veggies, fruits, and lean meats.
9. “I can just tone my muscles”
Your muscles are toned already, that’s how they move your body! However, the reason you don’t see them is due to the layer of fat that is covering them. To begin adjust your diet to start shedding the extra layer of fat rather than trying to “just tone up.”
8. “Women need different exercise from men.”
There is no denying that men and women are different, but we have largely the same body structure. While men and women have different strength levels it doesn’t mean our kinds of exercises should be different. Just remember to work out your entire body rather than focusing on one half or the other.
7. “Women should lift lower weights and do higher repetitions than men.”
Many women are concerned that lifting too much weight will cause them to bulk up. So they gravitate toward three pound weights that have too little resistance to change your muscles. It is important to choose a challenging weight and perform six to eight repetitions. Don’t worry about bulking because women don’t have high enough testosterone levels to lift the weight men use to bulk up.
6. “You should always stretch before exercising.”
This might surprise you, but stretching before a workout actually weakens the muscle by 30%. This reduces the tension and can increase the risk of injury, defeating your initial stretching purpose. Rather than stretching, focus on warming before your workout and stretch after you are finished.
5. “I can reduce fat in one area.”
Spot reduction does not work. Period. In order to lose weight your body reduces layers of fat all over your body. So rather than doing crazy amounts of crunches, squats, and push ups alone, you have to follow a strict diet to get rid of the layer of fat hiding the muscles underneath.
4. “I’ll burn only fat at my target heart rate.”
Watching the blinking cardio heart rate graph on your cardio equipment can be entertaining, but is probably largely inaccurate. You will only burn fat exclusively when you are sleeping, and as you can imagine, it isn’t effective fat burning. To help blast fat try a mix of high and low intensity cardio and lifting with interval training.
3. “I’ll burn more fat on an empty stomach.”
Technically, this is true. However, working out on an empty stomach can defeat the purpose of your fat-loss diet because the body will likely burn more nutrient rich muscle than fat in a fasting state. On top of that, since your body doesn’t have all of the nutrients that it needs, your body can’t function well enough to reach its peak performance.
2. “Drinking shakes are great for weight loss.”
When choosing a diet to lose weight you probably are trying to avoid sugar and empty calorie coloring agents. Those are a large part of shake mixes with a simple addition of cheap protein and vitamins that are unlikely to help you remain full. Rather, focus on whole foods with high fiber to fill your stomach keeping you satisfied with less longer.
1. “Eat only egg whites and not the yolks.”
Egg whites alone are almost fat free. With no fat your body will signal an insulin spike, causing hunger cravings and energy swings throughout the day. So eat the yolks.
Weight loss isn’t tricky, but it is a science. Avoid fads and ask a professional and watch the weight melt away!

There are a few key characteristics that you look out for when buying a camera to use in the great outdoors – the device has to be compact to make it easy to carry, waterproof so that it won’t shut down as soon as it gets splashed, and packed with technology to ensure you get the perfect shot every time. These ten cameras have all of these features, and so much more besides:
1. Olympus Tough TG-2 Digital Compact Camera
The reason why this camera takes the top spot in our list is because it is much more than a means of capturing a stunning moment. Of course, this is still possible thanks to the Olympus Tough TG-2 guaranteeing solid image quality in all conditions and the ability to take a picture as quick as the blink of the eye.
However, high-speed video is great for creating exciting home videos, while built-in GPS will help you remember exactly where a special snap was taken and Wi-Fi enables you to share images in an instant.
Purchase your Olympus Tough TG-2 from Jessops and you can also save money by getting your hands on an accessories pack that offers you a memory card, sturdy carry case and handy set of screen protectors.
2. Nikon Coolpix AW110
The stats say it all about the Nikon Coolpix AW110 – a practical 5x zoom lens, a stunning 16-megapixel CMOS sensor that is also backlit, the fact it is waterproof up to 59 feet, built-in Wi-Fi and GPS. Quite simply, what more could you ask for from an outdoor camera?
3. Canon Powershot D20
The Canon Powershot D20 shows that size doesn’t mean everything where a camera is concerned. What this gadget lacks in size, it more than makes up for by the fact that you can choose between 720p and 1080p video resolution, as well as snap images with a 12-megapixel sensor so that you see everything in a shot in immaculate detail.
4. Sony RX1
Although one of the more expensive cameras in our list – it retails at around £2,500 – the Sony RX1 stands out for being the smallest camera on the market in the world right now. On top of this, the device can offer up to 5fps of continuous shooting and has an excellent digital zoom capability for seeing a part of a shot up close. Everyone needs to splash the cash sometimes.
5. Panasonic Lumix TS5
Seen a photo opportunity but puzzled about how you can capture the moment as it is underwater? Don’t distress as the Panasonic Lumix TS5 is waterproof up to 43 feet – not to mention that a 16-megapixel sensor just about guarantees a brilliant photo every time.
6. Panasonic Lumix TZ40
It’s another Panasonic Lumix, but the TZ40 stands out from the TS5 due to its 20x optical zoom – you can capture an image of even the smallest creature off in the distance in great detail with this device. Not to mention that it is very compact in design, so that there is never any hassle carrying it around on a trek.
7. Pentax WG-3 GPS
Look at this camera from the front and you could mistake it for a sports trainer. Mind you, the Pentax WG-3 GPS is sure to leave a big footprint on the camera market due to its useful LCD information screen next to the lens, GPS for keeping track of where images were taken, and, of course, that stylish design.
8. Sony RX100 II
The second Sony camera to feature on our list, the RX100 II makes things simple for the budding photographer by offering them the chance to capture what the Japanese giant has deemed as Raw images at the click of a button. A backlit sensor means you can take top-quality pictures come rain or shine, day and night, too.
9. Olympus Tough TG-830 iHS
Weighing just 7.5 ounces on the scales, you could easily forget that you have the nimble Olympus Tough TG-830 iHS in your pocket. However, the chance to choose between 720p, 1080i and 1080p video resolution, as well as take pictures through a 16-megapixel sensor, shows that this gadget packs a hefty punch.
10. Fuji X20
One of the main characteristics of the Fuji X20 which enables it to catch the eye in the congested camera market is how its black, leather-like design helps to give it a wonderful retro feel. However, phase-detection AF pixels and a state-of-the-art EXR sensor showcases that this camera can hold its own when it comes to snapping high-quality photos.

If you own a smartphone and a car, the two can combine in sweet harmony if you procure one or more of the following driving apps. There are plenty more mobile options for motorists on the market, but these are ten of the best apps for motorists out there at the moment.
10. XLR8
If you are environmentally conscious and have purchased an electric or hybrid vehicle, you may miss the rumble and grumble of a petrol engine. This app for iPhone and Android plays out the sound of a V8 engine. It is synched with the acceleration and deceleration of your car via GPS, so plug it into your stereo system and make your sensible saloon sound like a muscle car.
9. Torque
This is one of the most comprehensive engine management and diagnostics apps available, recording and displaying all sorts of information whilst you drive to help you find issues and improve engine tuning.
8. Petrol Prices Pro
Getting caught out by high fuel prices when you are running on fumes can be a pain, but with this app you can identify nearby filling stations and find out which has the cheapest petrol, whether you are on the motorway or in a town.
7. GreenMeter
Having a lead foot can burn through fuel and make your daily commute cost much more than is necessary. This app highlights the economy of your driving habits and helps to teach you the most efficient ways to accelerate and brake so that you can save money and do your bit for the environment.
6. Witness Driving
Traffic incidents are still common and if you are involved in one it is important to record as much evidence as possible so that in the event of an insurance claim you are able to back up your story. This app lets you turn your phone into a trip camera that records the road ahead and saves relevant footage to leave no doubt about what went on.
5. GloveBox
As well as allowing you to easily store all of the important information about your car in one place, this app also keeps you up to date with any servicing or MOT requirements which may be approaching.
4. EZCam
There are a variety of different apps designed to alert you to speed cameras before you fall victim to them, but this is one of the first to help you work out whether you are sticking to the limit in an area governed by an average speed check. As these are becoming more common in the UK, it could be a worthwhile investment.
3. JamCam
Congestion is an issue across the country and some travel apps can alert you to issues on the roads, but this is one of the few that provides you with live footage of what is going on where you are headed. Using footage broadcast from official cameras operated by TfL and the Highways Agency, JamCam offers excellent accuracy and visual information.
2. Spotify
With a premium subscription to this popular music streaming service, you can not only play songs from a catalogue of millions when you are on the move, but also store tracks locally to listen when your network connection is unavailable. It is the ultimate in-car entertainment solution.
1. FuelLogPro
This is another app that tracks fuel consumption, but this time it also helps you project how many miles per gallon you are achieving and also estimates how much you will spend on fuel over the coming week, month or even year.

iPhone 6 Concept Shows How Wraparound Display Would Look Like [VIDEO]

UK publication company T3 has recently released a video depicting how the iPhone 6 would look like if Apple designs it according to the newly-submitted display patent–the wraparound-style display. According the filing document submitted by Apple last month, its future smartphones would sport a curved/sloped display that would wrap around the handset’s body.
At this point, only Apple designers may have known the appearance and design of future iPhones but T3, in their conceptualization, didn’t exaggerate things.
The video suggests that Apple would consider using 1615 x 1800 pixels resolution if it were to use a wraparound display. A secondary camera in front would have 2 megapixels camera sensor to be able to feed Facetime HD videos during chat sessions as well as NFC support and the new Lighting connector.
Since there would be, technically, two screens – T3 believe iOS could now offer real multi-tasking. In their demo video, iPhone 6 plays a video on one screen while running an email app on the other. For gaming applications, controls may be located on the other screen while the actual game happens in front. I don’t know if gamers would be happy with this setup as it may seem very uncomfortable.
So far, of all conceptualizations we have seen, T3′s concept is a little closer to reality. But then again, Apple sticks to its tradition of keeping everything a secret prior to its official launching. So this would remain a concept until Apple decides to use such design, which is unlikely.
